Zoë Ross is the founder of Mind Moose. A former teacher, Zoë taught in both primary and secondary schools as a Head of Computing and Head of Year. She has an MSc in Psychology, is a member of the British Psychological Society and has particular interest and expertise in prevention and early-intervention in children’s mental health.
Since leaving teaching, Zoë has led several high-profile digital education projects and is particularly passionate about how technology can be used as a force for good. Zoë loves dogs (especially Rupert and Cookie) and you can follow her on twitter here.
Muhammad holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering and is the technology lead for Mind Moose.
Rehan works as the day-to-day developer for Mind Moose and has a degree in Computer Science.
Sam is responsible for the character illustration and graphic design for Mind Moose. He has worked in the creative industry for nearly seventeen years, working on projects for corporates, SMEs and charities.
Rupert is the Mind Moose office pup and is particularly good at helping everyone smile and contributing to good ideas, especially around what to have for lunch. He likes swimming and sleeping (not at the same time).
Cookie is the original Mind Moose office dog, though since Rupert has arrived, she is in semi-retirement, as it’s all a bit too much for her. She likes sleeping in the sunshine and barking.
Board of Advisors
A former teacher, Jonny is currently CEO of the Peter Jones Foundation. A successful social entrepreneur, he has founded and co-founded several educational companies and charitites, including The Brilliant Club, Researchers in Schools and AccessEd. Jonny was named in the Top 10 Young UK Social Entrepreneurs in 2010, listed in The Observer’s Britain’s 50 New Radicals in 2012 and won the Guardian’s Charity of the Year Award in 2015.
Chris is the Sales Director for Scholastic Education and the Chair of Governors of a Leicestershire primary school. He is particularly passionate about education and the system in which children are taught in schools. He is the former Chair of the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA).
As founder of MyChoicePad and Iris Speaks, Zoe has a wealth of impactful entrepreneurial experience. She is passionate about building technology that changes lives and supporting children, young people and adults and lectures in entrepreneurship at Cass Business School.
Dr. David Cox
A lecturer and former clinician, David is an expert on the subject of mindfulness. He is the VP of Mindfulness and Wellness Original Content at Audible and was previously Chief Medical Officer at Headspace.
The Moose Team
Mind Moose is the leader of the pack and the driver of the Moose Mobile. He leads the team on their adventurous journey as they find out how to have good mental wellbeing.
Elvis is a scientist and fascinated with how the brain works. He likes to share fascinating brain facts with the team and helps to keep everyone’s brain healthy.
Flo helps Mind Moose and the rest of the team understand what character strengths are and how they can be used to create a happy mind and purposeful life.
Sam is a very zen penguin and likes to look after his own and the team’s minds, helping them to stay calm and manage their emotions throughout their journey even when things go wrong. He’s a big fan of mindfulness and meditation.
Marv is Mind Moose’s cousin and the team’s mechanic. He’s great at helping things run smoothly and sorting out problems along the way.
Nessa is Mind Moose’s constant companion. She’s particularly good at teaching the rest of the team how they can look after their wellbeing.
