Zoë Ross is the founder of Mind Moose. A former teacher, Zoë taught in both primary and secondary schools as a Head of Computing and Head of Year with particular responsibilities for transition from primary to secondary school and PSHE (personal, social and health education).
Since leaving teaching, Zoe has worked on many digital and Computing education projects and is particularly passionate about how technology can help to improve lives. She holds an MSc in Psychology and is a member of the British Psychological Society.
Emma supports our customers in using Mind Moose and undertakes a variety of administrative work. She has previously worked for large corporates such as Virgin Mobile and is a keen advocate for mental health awareness.
Muhammad holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering and is the technology lead for Mind Moose.
Sam is responsible for the character illustration and graphic design for Mind Moose. He has worked in the creative industry for nearly seventeen years, working on projects for corporates, SMEs and charities.
Hector is our talented animator. He holds degrees in both Graphic Design and Motion Graphics and has worked with studios in the UK, Spain and Mexico.
The Moose Team
Mind Moose is the leader of the pack and the driver of the Moose Mobile. He leads the team on their adventurous journey as they find out how to have good mental wellbeing.
Elvis is a scientist and fascinated with how the brain works. He likes to share fascinating brain facts with the team and helps to keep everyone’s brain healthy.
Flo helps Mind Moose and the rest of the team understand what character strengths are and how they can be used to create a happy mind and purposeful life.
Sam is a very zen penguin and likes to look after his own and the team’s minds, helping them to stay calm and manage their emotions throughout their journey even when things go wrong. He’s a big fan of mindfulness and meditation.
Marv is Mind Moose’s cousin and the team’s mechanic. He’s great at helping things run smoothly and sorting out problems along the way.
Nessa is Mind Moose’s constant companion. She’s particularly good at teaching the rest of the team how they can look after their wellbeing.
Board of Advisors
Chris is the Sales Director for Scholastic Education and the Chair of Governors of a Leicestershire primary school. He is particularly passionate about education and the system in which children are taught in schools. He is the current Chair of the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA).
A former teacher, Jonny is currently CEO of the Peter Jones Foundation. A successful social entrepreneur, he has founded and co-founded several educational companies and charitites, including The Brilliant Club, Researchers in Schools and AccessEd. Jonny was named in the Top 10 Young UK Social Entrepreneurs in 2010, listed in The Observer’s Britain’s 50 New Radicals in 2012 and won the Guardian’s Charity of the Year Award in 2015.
