Zoë Ross is the founder of Mind Moose. A former teacher, Zoë taught in both primary and secondary schools as a Head of Computing and Head of Year with particular responsibilities for transition from primary to secondary school and PSHE (personal social and health education).
Since leaving teaching in 2014, Zoe has worked with schools and organisations throughout the UK, training staff and working directly with pupils. She holds an MSc in Psychology, is a member of the British Psychological Society and has particular expertise in positive psychology, building resilience, dealing with anxiety, stress management, coping with bereavement and overall mental wellbeing.
Zoë has also worked with many high-profile clients including Google, the BBC and BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT on a number of successful, innovative education project and is particularly passionate about how technology can be used to transform our mental health and wellbeing, enabling us to thrive, not simply survive.
Mind Moose is the leader of the pack and the driver of the Moose Mobile. He leads the team on their adventurous journey as they find out how to have good mental wellbeing.
Elvis is a scientist and fascinated with how the brain works. He likes to share fascinating brain facts with the team and helps to keep everyone’s brain healthy.
Flo helps Mind Moose and the rest of the team understand what character strengths are and how they can be used to create a happy mind and purposeful life.
Sam is a very zen penguin and likes to look after his own and the team’s minds, helping them to stay calm and manage their emotions throughout their journey even when things go wrong. He’s a big fan of mindfulness and meditation.
Marv is Mind Moose’s cousin and the team’s mechanic. He’s great at helping things run smoothly and sorting out problems along the way.
Nessa is Mind Moose’s constant companion. She’s particularly good at teaching the rest of the team how they can look after their wellbeing.

Chris is the Sales Director for Scholastic Education and the Chair of Governors of a Leicestershire primary school. He is particularly passionate about education and the system in which children are taught in schools. He is the current Chair of the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA).
A former teacher, Jonny is currently CEO of the Peter Jones Foundation. A successful social entrepreneur, he has founded and co-founded several educational companies and charitites, including The Brilliant Club, Researchers in Schools and AccessEd. Jonny was named in the Top 10 Young UK Social Entrepreneurs in 2010, listed in The Observer’s Britain’s 50 New Radicals in 2012 and won the Guardian’s Charity of the Year Award in 2015.
